Summer program Instructors work in a team teaching environment with two teachers and two teaching assistants. They are responsible for teaching an appropriately challenging and rigorous course to approximately 25-30 academically able students. Instructors' primary responsibilities are to plan and conduct their classes and labs within our guidelines, to monitor the progress of each of their students, and to supervise the instructional assistants with whom they work.
Instructors' daily work hours will be class times, the evening study period, and additional class planning and preparation time as needed. All staff have supervisory responsibilities during meal times and at student registration and check-out. Participation in S.E.P. should be considered a full-time commitment.
